Disappointed and way overpriced

 

After owning a Saeco grind and brew that I bought here I am highly disappointed in this overpriced beast. Cuisinart needs to go back to drawing board and refine this unit. It is amazingly similar to the Saeco which doesn't seem to be available anymore....

The coffee maker is overly engineered to appear cool but it lacks ease of use and true functionality. Maybe at 1/3 the price it would be okay.

So far, so good.

 

No drawbacks. A pot of coffee stays satisfactorily warm for hours. The last cup or two goes in the microwave for a few seconds. That works for me. As a safety consideration, I've never liked the idea of a hot-plate which could be mistakenly left "ON"...

I absolutely love it! No issues. Makes great coffee. Very easy to clean. Love the thermal pot. Keeps the coffee hot. Looks great in the kitchen. The settings are very easy to use. Totally recommend!
