Gaggia Platinum Vision

 

The Gaggia Platinum Vision produces quality espresso quickly and easily.

Produces good quality espresso shots; Easy to use

No included auto milk frother

Brews a good shot of espresso, and is easy to use. It is lacking some of the fancy features of its more sophisticated cousins, though.

Don't waste your money

 

We purchased this machine new from a 'very reputible' company here in South Australia. We have had nothing but problems with this machine. It has been in for repairs about 8 times in the past 2 years as it constantly stops making coffee and comes up...

The Best

 

Its a every day pleasure that I wake up and look forward to a coffee on my way to work. Had the unit just on 18ths and not a thing has gone wrong. Would average 10 cups a day between the whole family.. Friends purchased a second machine some 12 mths...

6months on everything is still working and I've been entertaining with it. Guests have been commenting how good the coffee is - I use Lavazza beans. Just disappointed about the limited crema. Perhaps its because I do not use a frothing jug.

Bad

 

Large machine but our kitchen bench is large enough that it looks good. What is that saying that price is forgotten when quality prevails. Well I still remember the price!

Makes great coffee when it works. Easy to set up. We have had to machine for 2 years and make on average 8 coffees a day between 3 of us.

We had had our machine for 2 years now and has been in for repair twice, each time it takes about six weak to get it back. As the other reviewer said , we paid top dollar and I would expect a lot better. It has just started to play up again and we will...

Terrible

 

Poorly made internal parts Poor local support in Australia Way over priced Cheap plastic composition Water tank too small Won't buy another Gaggia / Saeco machine ever!

I love it when it works! Makes a very nice coffee.

Paid top dollar for the machine and expected top quality. It has been in for repairs 3 times under warranty, and now just out of warranty it has failed again.

Terrible

 

Machine has a problem with the brew group jamming and they have tried to repair four times.Had advice its mechanical,have lodged a complaint. I took the extended 5 year warranty.

I love my Gaggia, we have had it for 2 years and although we have had the pump replaced, about 6 months ago, there has not been a day i wanted to live without it. It actually works better since we had it overhauled at the same time the pump was...

Easy to use, no guess work, tells you what needs doing every step.

water tank needs refilling too often, although a bigger tank would have to increase the size of the machine.

For an automatic coffee machine I found this machine superior to the Delonghi Prima Donna in its operation, speed and quality of brew. Milk frothing is not as convenient or as automated as the Prima Donna, but it works adequately taking about 10 secs...

Consistently makes a great cup of coffee with a rich crema. Very easy to operate with good control over brew, very quick to heat up.

A rather cheap plastic feel and look to the build with scarcely a metal component to be seen including brewing mechanism.

As good as Costa coffee,Cofe Nero or Starbucks

The machine will run out of water half way through a cycle the same with the discharge bin you must remember to check before making a coffee
