Total disappointment

This was a replacement for a Krups espresso machine that I had for about 4 years. That model made probably 500 cycles of espresso before the power button popped off. I was happy with this performance, so I decided to go for another Krups. This FNP1 ...

Reasonable cost. counter-top Small. Built-in steamer.

Coffee quality very poor. Must reload grounds for each small cup.

Good machine for the price, HOWEVER.....

The Krups Espremio FNP1 is a great little espresso machine for only $80. I really like the fact that you can fit a regular size mug under the filter basket for cappuccinos and lattes. It produces a very acceptable espresso, and the steam system works ...

Great little espresso machine for the price. Very easy to use.

Only makes "single" shot espresso's, and a bit of a mess to clean.

Easy to use--works better with pods

simple to use, reasonable price

spotty customer service

Delightful Little Machine

I own 4 pump machines (Saeco, etc.), but do not consider myself an expert. I even buy store-ground espresso, even though I have my own roaster and grinder. So I am not an enthusiast.

Small, often on sale. Make a full-bodied cup. Accepts mugs for longer "pulls."

Evacuates steam pressure, drip plate fills quickly.

Not practical.

I had been using a small Krups espresso maker for a few years and felt it was time for a larger more convenient unit.

Has a water tank.

Very messy.

Great Looks - Poor Performer

Krups has always been known for their coffee/espresso machines. There is not a major store that doesn't carry this brand. Krups overall has been a very respectful company, until lately, where I find they are releasing machines that would of not been of...

Nice Design - Easy to clean - Removable water tank.

Poor Pressure, Weak Espresso, Shallow filter, only one cup at a time.
