8 CUPS? NAH. STILL A GREAT POT THOUGH.

I read other reviews and they were mixed so I ordered this coffee pot anyway. So far so good. I've had it for a month now and no problem. It makes a great cup of coffee or two, certainly not eight (8) cups of coffee. Well I guess it measures 8 cups....

The perc is good. It makes a good cup of coffee. BUT, the base of the stem in the coffee holder is too wide at the base. This means the standard available paper filter has to be torn to be pushed down flat. So the the outer ring of holes aren't covered...

My favorite coffee maker.

Of all the coffee makers I have owned over 40 some years, this one still makes the best tasting coffee for my money. It's not fancy or expensive but the I like the flavor the best.

Wanted to watch my coffee perc - fun! Bad idea, the glass is great, but the stem, basket, and lid are all plastic. The very first brew caused the plastic lid to warp and the coffee blew out of the space. Why not make these parts aluminum like any other...

Perc me Up

This isn't our first Medelco Glass Stove top Percolator. After years and product such as the drip Mr. Coffee craze and electric percolators -- which had little longevity and hot coffee, we skipped right over the new single serving fad to the old...
