Mr. Coffee's great bargain 15 Bar pump espresso machine

Recently my previous pump-style espresso machine (reviewed elsewhere here) was rendered inoperable by a bit of shoddy construction. Rather than do another round of repairs, my wife suggested we scrap it and just get a replacement.

Fantastic price for a pump machine. Good crema. Easy to work and clean

Frothing tube a bit short. Steam control is only on or off

Great machine for the money!

After watching a Food Network show specifically about espresso machines, I knew I had to toss the old "screw knob on top, pour the water in to the machine, never getting crema, but more like auto drip strong coffee" machine in the trash.  I had my...

Super easy to operate and clean up

Easy to use. Contains most if not all, required technologies to produce true espresso

Don't buy.

I received an EMCP50 for Christmas. It lasted about 4 days. The pump failed and water leaked out the bottom of the machine.

It was ok when it worked

Pump powered instead of steam. Pump failed after only a couple of uses

Mr. Coffee Espresso Machine ECMP50

We purchased the EMCP50 about 2 months ago for $80 when our regular programmable 12-cup coffee maker was due for unclogging. We both love espresso lattes (such as Starbucks) but don't have time to stop every day, don't like the attitude or the price. ...

Makes excellent coffee. *Low price.

Somewhat loud at first (becomes happy, expectant sound).*Milk frothing tube should be longer.
