Don't throw it out just yet...

I received the Toastess TFC-1 (hereafter the "TFC") as a Christmas present in 2006. Our main coffee maker, a Mr. Coffee which is soon to be replaced, does not make one or two cups of coffee very well, so evidently my considerate wife felt the TFC would...

Makes a good, hot, quality cup of coffee. Low price

Spits ; small mug provided ; relatively slow

Toastess Coffee Maker

This was the worst item I have ever bought. The very first time I used it, I had a hard time pressing the button to the On position. When I finally got it to go to On position the switch burned out and smoked.
