Nice brewer with a few problems

First, I love the brewing quality. Superb coffee, but at the price of a leaky pouring system. The best way to use this carafe is to remove the lid entirely before pouring or pour over a sink, which defeats part of the purpose of a thermal carafe.

Brews great coffee. Sleek design

leaks badly when pouring. Not easy to clean.

Incredible Coffee for the picky drinkers

I was spending well over $50 a month at Starbucks to get the flavor I had to have. I tried many different combinations from a Starbuck machine ($200) that my friend bought, to making a single cup with a Melita funnel. I tried expensive beans and I...

The ultimate in drip brewing

First off, I am a college student. I also became a coffee lover recently and I needed a good coffee maker as a study aid.

Keeps coffee hot for hours without burning it with a hot plate

brew limit of 8 measured cups ; can overflow

a coffee fanatic. I like this machine. Update- Now I love it..

UPDATE: Feb 03. After almost two and a half years this machine is still functioning flawlessly. It still brews at 190 degrees plus and the carafe still keeps the coffee hot for more time than needed. I make 2 to 3 pots of coffee a day in this...

Great coffee, good looks Update-durable

water filter still must be ordered Lid does not come apart for cleaning.

A must for modern coffee lovers

I personally don't drink coffee so when I do make it for guests it needs to stay warm. I thought that the Cafe Delice Thermal Coffee Maker by Philips would save me from having to buy a coffee maker and a carafe separately.

stylish, keeps coffee warm

pours messy

Keepin' the Coffee Warm

The Philips Thermal Carafe Coffeemaker (HD5320) is about twice as expensive as the conventional glass carafe and hot-plate variety coffeemaker, but well worth it.

Fresh-tasting hot coffee an hour after it was made

Power doesn't shut off automatically
