Ratio Eight review

Most drip coffeemakers look downright dull, often offering all the aesthetic impact of a plastic box. Not so with the stunning Ratio Eight. This exorbitantly priced kitchen brewer -- it's $580, which converts to approximately £372 or AU$800 -- is built...

The Ratio Eight boasts a luxurious design that uses fancy materials such as glass, specialty metals and wood. The machine also brews outstandingly delicious drip coffee.

With inaccurate water volume labels, the Ratio Eight is a headache to operate reliably unless you're in the habit of weighing your water. The Eight's exorbitant price is at least triple that of its premium drip-coffee competition.

Even if you have money to burn, the lovely Ratio Eight's usability quirks and outlandishly expensive price make other coffeemakers from Bonavita and Technivorm much better buys.

Best coffee maker, hands down.

I've just received my Ratio last week. This is an extremely beautiful, high-quality machine that brews an EXCEPTIONAL cup of coffee. The materials are extremely high quality and its exceptionally well-built. This is the last machine I'll ever have to...

Quality, beauty and simplicity.

I don't have one in every colour.

Looks good but poor value

To be fair, I don't think this company claims more than it delivers. However, you need to be aware this device is pretty but not practical . First, you need to be passionate about coffee taste to make it worth the price. Then it does not have any way...

Makes good\not great coffee. Looks nice on the counter

Totally impractical for a normal daily routine
