So far so good - impressed with quality

I was looking for a machine that was relatively simple in design - with minimal electronics - but built with good quality components and designed to last many years, and which could be repaired and maintained down the track at a reasonable cost. After...

Best thing since sliced bread...or even longer.

ten than not, they fall short...the cafes that is. But then we do mainly use Tim Adams coffee from Caloundra so that would help a lot also. End of the day, if you want a fantastic coffee machine that doesn't take up a lot of space, looks stylish and...

Excellent Espresso Machine

I have had my VBM since 2010 and have found it to be excellent. Easy to use and clean, I saw a post that it was hard to clean I have not found any problem, super easy. Makes excellent coffee every day. Never had any problems. It has had a couple of...

Great Coffee Maker. Not So Sure About Reliability.

t of practice - but most people could master making a flat white after a few goes. It has a good sized tank, and a commercial group head and a solid basket/handle. The chrome finish has been durable and easy to clean. Italian made coffee machines all...

Great Coffee Maker. Not So Sure About Reliability.

In the 2 years we've had ours, it's been OK. It's not terribly reliable. The steam pressure guage doesn't work any more. The steam wand and tap has had to have a complete new seal and valve set installed. It's an absolute annoyance to clean/descale...

Real coffee

I have now had this machine for 6 months and I love it. It is fairly easy to use as the boiler automatically fills and if the water gets too low it stops working until you refill it making it unlikely that it could be damaged by running the boiler dry....

Easy to make coffee for lots of people.

Great for the home barista

a mazza). And buying good beans. You need to invest in all three for the machine itself to be worthwhile. Everytime we have tried without all three, the resulting cup has been a massive disappointment.

Once you have the hang of it, you can achieve a fabulous crema

Also need a good grinder and quality beans to get the best out of it

OK

Our only complaint is the amount of times this machine breakes down, around 11 times since we've owned it. The latest thing is the Gicar controller.... some circuit failed in it. My husband has started fixing it himself because of the time, effort and...

A great looking machine and makes a very good coffee. We've owned ours for 4 years now, so it's like a member of the family...... with good points and bad points.

We've just had it break down..... again. Now we're back to using our little stove top coffee pot until it's fixed. The bill is likely to be around $300...... again

Great for the home barista

We have had our machine for 2 years now, and use it to make around 20 cups of coffee per week. So far we have encountered no mechanical problems whatsover. This is our first 'proper' machine, so it took a bit of time to get used to it. And I still find...

Excellent

This is the best machine without going to full commercial. Very well thought out with the coffee drinker in mind yet still very easy to use. The model I have is full stainless. We make around 10-15 cups a day. I would get the unit plumbed in if I...

Best steem, solid performance with 2 or 10 coffee's. Never had a problem in 3 years. I do have it serviced every year
