It has the ability to capture 3D images and video with the new 45mm f/1.8 2D/3D lens.

The NX300 looks great on paper, but has Samsung really gotten it right this time?

Rapid 8.6fps continuous shooting speed; The big 3.3-inch AMOLED touchscreen is gorgeous; Phase detection pixels baked right into the sensor

Lacks a flash and viewfinder

A solid midrange mirrorless with plenty of promise

Samsung's top of the range compact system camera is a real contender

Settings adjust on lens ring ; Responsive & hinged touchscreen ; New faster auto focus system ; Very good image quality

Lacking built-in flash ; Poor buffer performance

The ample touchscreen on the rear of the camera offers access to a majority of the camera's controls, as do a selection of buttons located around the camera body, although for the majority of our setting changes during testing we found ourselves using...

Samsung NX300 review

Large touch-sensitive AMOLED screen ; Lens Priority mode ; Image quality ; Ease of use ; Bundled copy of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom

Some barrel distortion on raw shots ; Slightly bulky when compared to other compact system cameras

The NX300 represents a significant step up from its predecessor, yet costs less than the NX210 did at launch. As a bonus, it's bundled with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4, which has to be the most impressive piece of in-the-box software yet shipped with a...

Preview: Samsung NX300

The most obvious difference between the generations is the new retro two-tone design, à la Fujifilm. I find that the lenses look a little too modern, though, to really carry it off. The grip has also grown a bit, with a larger thumb rest area on the...
