It works!

I like its design because it's easier if you need to connect to a laptop without blocking other ports. I've connected to both PC and Macbook Pro and it works with no problem at all. I have a RAID5 tower which is eSATA only, I didn't want to buy another...

DIDN'T WORK RUNS VERY HOT

NONE

It didn't work. Just by plugging it in it quickly got VERY VERY HOT. I'm kinda glad it didn't work because I wouldn't want a device this hot attached to my main external hard drive data

Is it Something Did?

I am not sure what the issue with this is, both MOBO's have the latest drivers for their respective chipset, might be compatibility with my AMS 2350j, but it works fine on eSATA, so not sure what to think?

Fair price, USB 3.0 (Duh), installed on Win7x64, pulled drivers from Win Update immediately, recognized my external RAID enclosure, FAST ; I gave 3 eggs because although this did not work for me, others have had luck so I am sure it has something to do...

I just built two new computers, Core i7-970 on an Asus Sabertooth x58, and an Atom D525 on an Asus AT5IONT-I. I have an external AMS 10TB enclosure, with self contained RAID 0. I was able to hook this up and it immediately added the drive. I was pretty...

Works Great on MacBook Pro

As others have said, works exactly las one would expect. This worked great where an ExpressPort SATA controller would not on my macbook pro. No frills. Plug and play. Also supports USB 3.0 though I have no way to test that

The packaging? Nothing bad, just could have been smaller/more environmentally sound

Works Fine

I used this to hook my netbook into a customer's desktop drive and run AV and malware scans. Pretty fast and no issues whatsoever.

Works exactly as expected. No surprises, no hassles (drivers or otherwise)

it works

I used it on an old 320GB external drive and the speed was just as good as by a straight esata connection.

It works. There is not much that can be said about a simple converter
