Addictive Game

Beachhead 2000 is a great game that was released two years ago. Still available at Wal-Mart, the game has many pros and few cons.

Bargain Beach Head 2000

Beach Head 2000 is a single player action game in which the player mans a single bunker equipped with an AA gun in an attempt to hold off an endless horde of soldiers, tanks, attack helicopters and other enemies. At first glance, it appears to be the...

Due to the awful ratings this review has received(?), I felt it necessary to explain my impressions of this game in more detail.

Hmmm. Shoot a gun. heh

Saving Private Ryan, from the Nazi's point of view.

If you are one of those epinion reviewers who base their rating on how short a review is, please don't judge this one too harshly. If this review is so short, it is because this game is so simple! There is only so much a person could write about it.

Okay for your quick action fix. Only $20 when it came out

Very unrealistic and illogical gameplay. Simplistic

Could have been much better

For the record, I was a huge fan of Beachhead and Beachhead 2 for the Commodore 64 (there was a Beachhead 3 if I remember correctly but I never got to play it).

you get to shoot stuff

linear, non-accelerated graphics, hard to see where you're shooting

MeatHead 2000

Oh, to have the life of a grunt in a pillbox. If you've ever wisted for the in-depth gameplay experience that only being a stationary 360 degree rotating turret can provide, than this is probably the game for you.

Mindless shooting fun

Mindless AI to go with mindless shooting fun

I've Lost My Husband!!

Shoot 'em up! Kill, kill, kill ... that is the only way to describe Beach Head 2000. Of course, that is from my point of view. Sitting next to my husband, he at his computer, me at mine, I'm trying to write the review of all reviews, and all I hear is...

Keeps my husband happy, decent graphics

Needs more speed/memory than the recommended amount

Not A Bad Game, Not Exactly Good Either

Beachhead 2000 is a fairly exciting game. It is made up of an endless string of levels with each level being slightly more difficult than the last and requiring new skills and strategies.

easy to learn, simple keyboard and mouse controls

repetitive, never ending
