Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

The eighth installment of Call of Duty has been released following Black Ops, which was released in November 2010. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

MW3 lives up to the already cemented reputation of the Call of Duty series; however, it appears to be almost like an expensive DLC for Black Ops. As a friend of mine said about this game, a shooter is a shooter. Many diehard CoD fans have been...

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Here we go again. It's the fall so that means another version of Call of Duty is out. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 concludes the story set in motion a few games ago with the final events of World War 3.

The experience is starting to get a little tiring, but there are still moments in the single player campaign that are pretty fun. The multiplayer can be loads of fun when you aren't getting frustrated from being owned a lot. Graphics haven't changed...

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Review

It's a tie.

Fun, over-the-top campaign; great solo or co-op SpecOps missions; new multiplayer modes play to the game's strengths; new handicapping features for terrible, death-prone players like me

Barely does anything to leverage its power to set the benchmark for shooters and the larger video games medium; doesn?t really show much evolution from previous Modern Warfare games; lacks a sense of surprise

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Review

Compared to some of my game critic friends, I haven't been especially kind to Call of Duty in the last couple of years. With serious PC issues on launch for the last two games and campaigns that were memorable but short with little replay value, I've...

Despite feeling some fatigue with the reuse of this same formula repeatedly, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 still winds up being everything I expected, and it even includes a few extra additions and improvements I didn't expect. Of course, my...

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Review

Modern Warfare 3 sticks to its competitive, cooperative, and single-player guns and reminds you why the series is one of the best in the business.

Climactic campaign ; Lots of varied and challenging Spec Ops action ; Exciting and entertaining competitive multiplayer ; Spec Ops profile spreads the satisfaction of leveling up

Multiplayer sticks closely to familiar formula

If the five-hour campaign doesn't satisfy your thirst for AI blood, then the Special Ops mode almost certainly will. Returning after its debut in Modern Warfare 2, Spec Ops offers 16 one-off missions that complement the events of the campaign, letting...

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 review

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 quickly became the biggest entertainment launch in history, yet it still has the measly problem of being the same game that Activision has released for the past five years. A few changes to multi-player including new...

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is not a perfect game and it is hardly a must-have, but the developers have delivered a solid single-player campaign with fun co-op missions, as well as the tried and true online multi-player that we have come to expect....

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 review

Activision manages the tricky feat of offering more of the same for the fans and some shiny new features for the non-fans.

The latest CoD has, unsurprisingly, a silly and confusing singleplayer campaign, but the barrier to entry for the satisfying multiplayer has been lifted smartly.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Games Xtreme takes a look at Modern Warfare 3 to see if it really all that modern.

MW3 is a highly polished game that has a solid singleplayer at 6 hours, and a robust new multiplayer that feels like a mix between CoD 4 and MW2. All in all, worth getting if you are a CoD fan.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

For three years now, our routine in the first week of November has been almost identical: day off work, the new Call Of Duty game and several uninterrupted hours in which the single-player is usually completed, the set-pieces fawned over, multiplayer...
