Traditional adventure gameplay; pretty 2D backgrounds; solid musical score

Too much pointless dialogue with not a great translation; unintuitive puzzles lacking in-game clues; storyline is hard to follow; characters' behavior is not believable

The Tree of Life is a game that may appeal to hardcore adventure gamers, but be prepared to overlook a lot of very fundamental faults.
