Great, immersive sci-fi story; epic in size and length, with many hours of FMV footage; solid music; main cast does a good job

Dated visuals; awful interface and movement design choices; sudden deaths and some dead ends; much of the supporting cast does a terrible job

The highly ambitious DARKSTAR delivers a great sci-fi story that’s unfortunately hampered by serious interface flaws, questionable design decisions, and occasional bad acting.
