Defenders of Ardania

The Good: Interesting mix of tower defense elements The Bad: That ultimately don't mesh together all that well. The Ugly: Endless multiplayer games. There are so many different game elements mixed into Defenders of Ardania, that I can't decide if I'm...

All of this is too bad, because clearly, beyond the game mechanics which are shoddy, some quality work went into DoA. You have several different tower and unit types, though probably nothing really groundbreaking in the annals of tower defense games....

Defenders Of Ardania

Defenders Of Ardania is a type of tower defense capture the flag game – the people behind the game want to call it tower offense and tower defense together, but that's not nearly as descriptive. While your enemy is attempting to penetrate your...

Mix of tower defense and offense

Feels like there's a lack of control ; At times it can be hard to determine which units are which ; Cheap starts to levels

Some work is needed, but this points towards an evolution of the tower defense genre.

Defenders of Ardania (PC) Review

The real-time-strategy/tower-defense hybrid comes to the PC! Do two great tastes taste great together or is this blend of genres a bust?

A new strategy game set in the Majesty universe has arrived on XBLA and PC. It's tower defense with a twist, but does it work?

Tower defence, remixed.

Defenders of Ardania tries to do the right thing, but good intentions can't save it from being a boring and frustrating click-marathon that applies the brakes in all the wrong places.

Are you in need of a tower wars style RTS? Don't know what that is? Come on in and find out.

Overall, Defenders of Ardania is a solid tower wars title with little competition in the genre at the moment. Unfortunately, it's let down by a large difficulty jump and, although it's a visually pleasing title, the grid displaying locations isn't on...

Defenders of Ardania PC Review

Tower defense games have been a large part of my gaming life for the past 12 years since I first played Warcraft III. I was never really great at the whole real time strategy (RTS) style game but this gave them a whole new life (for me)! Here in 2012,...

Defenders of Ardania- PC

It's fleshed out tower defence admirably, [...] but seems to have stopped short of turning its offence-is-the-best-defence concept into anything especially dramatic. Ardania is the right idea, but a uninspiring execution. If you're looking for a remix...
