DMC Devil May Cry- PC

Censorship might seem so Nuremberg 1937, but don't forget that we Americans have many systems in place to insure that every medium has its own classification ghettos. Sometimes, this results in the R-rated action movie, which is labeled as including...

Most games revolve around adolescent power fantasies. As a grown man, I should hate Dante for being a stupid, cock-sure punk, but I can’t. I keep cringing, expecting a whiny moment to break out when Dante’s hormones catch up with him, but the moment...

DmC: Devil May Cry Review

Hair doesn't make the man.

Deep combat; a brilliantly over-the-top world; a strong story once it gets going

A very slow start; challenging difficulties locked; giant glowing-weakpoint boss fights

Another mostly successful reboot! This gives me hope for Tomb Raider! What other running-on-fumes franchise would you like to see go back to its roots and start over?

The powers of Heaven and Hell are raging, and two brothers plot at the center of the war. The Devil May Cry series is reborn.

DmC: Devil May Cry Review

With assured storytelling, great combat, and imaginative design, DmC: Devil May Cry is a more-than-worthy reboot for a classic franchise.

Tight, enthralling, and deep combat ; Big variety of weapons and enemies ; Imaginative demon designs ; Convincing voice acting ; Reboots the series without compromising its soul

Boss battles aren't nearly as fun as regular combat ; Ending doesn't live up to the rest of the story

As you gain more-advanced weapons and abilities, the combos that are open to you become more complex. Chains that let you pull yourself towards enemies, or pull them towards you, result in some explosive combos that see Dante zipping elegantly between...

DmC Devil May Cry review: Better than the devil you know

Thus far, DmC has been defined by the caustic relationship between Ninja Theory and a vocal subset of hateful fans. At the epicentre of the controversy is a new look Dante; he's not the Dante these fans want, entirely because he doesn't look like the...

Deep combat systems ; Interesting story and characters ; An outstandingly designed array of environments

By the numbers boss encounters ; Dull enemies ; Occasional camera hiccups
