Fallen Earth: Welcome to the Apocalypse (PC)

Fallen Earth's vision of the future is a bleak one. Horrific mutants roam the desolate plains, violent splinter groups worship computer AIs, and you must rummage through bags and scavenge junkyards if you intend to survive. Unfortunately, the...

Fallen Earth: Welcome to the Apocalypse

Clumsy combat, a glut of bugs, and ancient production values tarnish this otherwise rich and complex online role-playing game.

Complex and enjoyable web of crafting and scavenging ; Excellent quest writing ; Beautiful understated soundtrack

Loads of bugs, glitches, and other foibles ; Combat is awkward and unrewarding ; Weak visuals and sound effects

Fallen Earth

Fallen Earth is a post-apocalyptic MMO developed by Icarus studios that tries to separate its self from its fantasy based counter parts. But being without elves, mages, and other iconic elements in MMORPGs will it really make this game much different...

Fallen Earth suffers from the same problems most MMO's face. Billing it's self by not having "elves and wizards" just takes away the fantasy veneer and replaces it with a fresh thin coat of post-apocalyptic paint. People who really enjoy crafting...

Fallen Earth Review

"I'm just here for the gasoline." - Mad Max

Captures the essence of the post-apocalypse; extensive crafting system that yields experience; completely classless progression; six factions with purpose and ideologies

Obsolete animations and unimpressive graphics; too much desolation; no respecs and full effects of stats aren't felt until higher levels; combat feels disconnected

Fallen Earth doesn't exude the polish witnessed in recent MMOs. It's barely adequate in terms of visuals, excruciating stretches of nothing are common, and I have never encountered so many bugs in a launch-product. And yet, it's crawled beneath my...

Fallen Earth

Paying lip-service to established online worlds

Different from typical orcs and elves MMOs ; Refreshing action oriented combat approach ; Huge crafting system

Unoriginal, boring setting ; Weak melee fighting ; No saved favorites for crafting

Yet, despite its glaring errors, Fallen Earth remains oddly compelling. It hasn’t achieved its hugely ambitious aims, lacking the polish of the Fallout games, but there’s a kernel of underlying excitement beneath the engine and interface problems....

The crafting system stands out because items will require real time in order to craft. So if it takes a few hours or days to make an item, that's how long it takes in real time. Fortunately, though, you can carry out missions or do other things while...

A fantastic MMO

This game is great. If you doubt it, you should be able to do a trial to see if you like it. I recommend this to anyone looking for 'different' MMO that isn't based on either some franchise or has elves running around. Check out the website for screenies.

First of all, it is a deviation from the norm: Elves/Space stuff; truly an original MMO. The crafting is great, the graphics are stunning, content is wonderful ; I played Beta and then launch for a few months. My computer wasn't working out well. I...

Initially, during launch, frequent patches and issues would arise. The minimum specs for the game will force a user to have a less than enjoyable experience. Initially lag in the bigger areas was horrible, however it has gotten significantly better

High Hopes Dashed

The trend of the past few years is to put out unfinished games and hope you stay with it long enough to see it done.Kinda like paying to beta the game. The art and polish of the old days is gone, no one cares about quality any more, sad.

Massive world and deep crafting system

For a first time mmo from this company you would think they would want to make a good showing. But no Spit it out fix it later seems to be the standard for all the new games. Wait a while untill its finished wach the forums

Great game

If you like Fallout 3 or STALKER this is your MMORPG

Well thought out game. Lots of quests, it never felt like a grind. Leveling seems slow at first but its not just get a horse and do a bunch of quests and it goes fast. Tuns of crashing on day one, tuns of patches on day 2, no crashing day 3. I expect a...

Runs slow on some machines but not mine. (phenom 720, 4 gigs ram, 2X 4850)

This is what a Fallout MMO would be like.
