LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy

The first three Star Wars movies get the LEGO treatment, and it's a block-busting blast.

Consistently funny; simple gameplay with lots of replayablity; PC version looks gorgeous

No online play; probably a little too simple for non-Star Wars fans

LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy Preview

LEGO and Star Wars. Who saw that combination coming? Sure, as a toy it was a deal made in heaven, but as a game? When LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game hit store shelves in 2005, it became an instant (and surprise) hit. Since its release, the game has...

On September 12th, the LEGO universe will come to systems near you. The list of systems LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy is on is quite long: PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, GameCube, GBA, PC, DS and the PSP.

Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy

Last year we ended our Lego Star Wars review hoping that Travellers Tales would bring out a sequel, our wish, and just about everyone else's has been granted - Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy finally with us, it is.

Co-op mode ; Mix and match lego pieces ; Almost perfect

Deaths due to awkward camera angles ; Some annoying respawns

This time the action swings away from 'Dexter’s bar' and onto the more spacious ‘Mos Eisley Cantina' as the starting point (you may remember this area in Episode IV, as where Han Solo is recruited). Again this is the main meeting place for everyone in...

Great Kid-Safe Fun!

The cut scene animations are hilarious, especially for those who have seen the movies (who hasn't?). This is a very high-quality game. Your kids will not be disappointed. No other game has held their attention for so long. Game pads recommended. Great...

This is a GREAT game that all of our 5 children age 4 - 11 have enjoyed for the past year. They keep going back to it, and have unlocked everything in the game (kids seem to love those things, for some reason). Simple interface system makes it easy to...

There is a bug that prevented getting past one point and they had to replay that mission (not a big deal). Download the game patch

Fun for everyone

Simply put this is a fun game for the whole family. Usually when I read that I think-- BORING. But not the case here. Playing through the original trilogy is a childhood dream come

There are some quirky control issues. If you are a purist they do take some liberty with the movies

The short squatty characters are sooo funny! GET THIS GAME!!!

LOVE IT! Fun. Bought for my 7 year old. He has played it every day since Christmas. Massive amount of levels to keep him busy and entertained for a LONG time. The music is amazing - just like in the films. Makes me want to go buy the series

It takes him away from real life too long. Addicting!! :-)

Much ado about nothing

It gave me some issues with other games. It was locking my active keyboard and mouse in the game, and I could never get them out no matter how hard I tried. Always had to reboot to exit the game.

Great game, so many things to do though.... you feel overwhelmed with the unlockables. 4 billion studs? I've got 2 mil and I've played far longer than I should

Annoying camera angles sometimes ; Keyboard for 2 player is annoying too
