Nancy Drew: Danger by Design

Nancy Drew is sent to Paris on an undercover assignment to investigate the actions of Minette, an eccentric fashion designer who has been wearing a mask for months and behaving erratically. Along the way, she learns quite a lot about the French...

Challenging for all ages. Junior and senior levels. Junior level offers hints to help you complete tasks.

Game doesn't lend itself to playing over and over again. Some of the tasks can be frustrating and time consuming.

Nancy Drew's adventures in Paris and lessons in French history keep players engaged until the satisfying denouement.

Nancy Drew: Danger by Design

The Nancy Drew books are a staple of every American Elementary Library, they are the most well known introduction to the mystery genre for young girls. One would assume that the Nancy Drew adventure games from Her Interactive would have the same...

Voice Acting ; Graphics are very well done

Tedious Mini-Games ; Horrible interface with environments

Fans of the series don't be fooled, this horrible game is meant to get another $20 from you with half a game. It looks nice, and the plot is well developed, but they seem to forget games have to be fun to play.

Nancy Drew: Danger by Design

Many of the things that have attracted players in the past are here: quirky mysteries to solve, well integrated puzzles, and solid character interaction

Many of the things that have attracted players in the past are only slightly changed from previous games, which has started to give the series a very static, inert feel

Still a solid game, but the venerable series is starting to show its age by recycling many elements.
