Need for Speed: Most Wanted (Game Boy Advance)

Often, the Game Boy Advance version of a multiplatform game bears only a passing resemblance to its console-based counterparts. In order to cram a console game onto the GBA, the development team has to simplify the gameplay, remove features, and put...

Need for Speed Most Wanted 5-1-0 (PSP)

Need for Speed Most Wanted 5-1-0 has most of what's needed to make a good PSP racing game, but it lacks the biggest one of all: excitement.

Need for Speed Most Wanted (Xbox 360)

Every good hardware launch needs a great-looking driving game. With the increased graphical power that new hardware tends to provide, we've got yet another test bed for just how realistic computer-rendered cars can actually look. For the release of the...

Need for Speed: Most Wanted (GameCube)

EA's long-running Need for Speed series took a trip underground a couple of years back when the developer refocused the game solely on illegal street racing. While the nighttime racing series was certainly successful, the lawless world was always...

Need for Speed: Most Wanted- PC

Need for Speed: Most Wanted is the 19th entry in the popular racing franchise, and Criterion's second foray into the series. Gone are the cheesy plotlines, bad acting and cringe-worthy cutscenes. Most Wanted is just pure racing and chasing, and I...

While Need for Speed: Most Wanted doesn’t make major changes in the series, it’s fun, loud, obnoxious and enjoyable. What more could you want from it?

Need for Speed Most Wanted

Need for Speed: Most Wanted is about the driving. Following a short cutscene, we are fastened snugly behind the wheel of a car and are let loose in the open world of Fairhaven. Then there is only driving.

Most Wanted succeeds because it is all about the driving and the driving is excellent. It’s Burnout with a name that will sell. And that’s a pretty good thing.

Need For Speed Most Wanted Review

Let's just call Need For Speed Most Wanted what it really is – a spiritual successor to the 2008 release Burnout Paradise. After all, it has a lot in common with that classic driving experience. It's made by the same team at Criterion Games; it takes...

Most Wanted features a splendid system when it comes to getting new cars, as you can spot them in random places around Fairhaven, drive up and speed away with relative ease. Others can be earned over the course of the game, along with modifications...

Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2012)

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit was a fantastic game. Tearing across the winding desert roads of Seacrest County was always an adrenaline-fuelled treat, and having races laid out for you at your fingertips made the whole thing straightforward, intuitive...

A fantastic racing game at its core, Need for Speed: Most Wanted is let down by too few race types and a multiplayer mode with somewhat limited appeal. Joyriding around Fairhaven can be fun in its own right, but there's simply too little real meat on...

Need for Speed Most Wanted Review

Pulse and pavement-pounding hijinks for the gamepad crowd.

Exquisite graphics; unique menuless interface; free-for-all multiplayer format

Frame rate and micro-pause issues; no replay; can't turn off police

Criterion put a lot of effort into this city, and it shows. I had a blast playing Need For Speed: Most Wanted, and I expect to keep that feeling alive through many more single and multiplayer dustups. Keeping the Need For Speed legacy alive and fresh...
