Puzzle Quest: Galactrix

The combination of classic puzzle gameplay and RPG game mechanics results in something greater than the sum of its parts.

Classic puzzle gameplay combined with interesting RPG game mechanics; plenty of different game types to keep things fresh

No online multiplayer on DS; difficult to set up online multiplayer on PC

Puzzle Quest: Galactrix

Is the course set for the final frontier in puzzledom?

Upgrading your spaceship ; Tons of puzzle variations ; Facing off against a friend

Less battles than original PQ ; Hacking leapgates over and over ; Getting your ass kicked by space pirates

Puzzle Quest: Galactrix PC Preview

If you find yourself easily captivated by puzzles and bright colors, D3's Puzzle Quest Galactrix might just be the game for you.

With great looking graphics and an ever addictive puzzle concept, Galactrix is looking like a very solid addition to the franchise. D3 told us to expect it near the end of the first quarter of 2009 on PC, Xbox Live Arcade and Nintendo DS

In a nutshell, Puzzle Quest: Galactrix a puzzle game in space with pirate aliens, some RPG elements, and a rather dispassionate (read disposable) text based story. I will be honest and tell you that I never played Puzzle Quest before but I don’t think...

I must say that I really enjoyed playing a puzzle game with an opponent. At first, I was quick to compare this game with another popular puzzle game, Hexic HD. While the puzzle style is similar, Puzzle Quest is a much more active puzzle game whereas...

Puzzle Quest: Galactrix

Puzzle Quest: Galactrix is the second game in the Puzzle Quest series of games (The first game was Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords), but this is not a sequel per se but an almost complete re-envisioning of the classic Puzzle Quest game but now...

Nice new puzzle board to play ; Sci-fi space based RPG story is very well done (cliché though) ; Easy to pick up and master ; Multiple characters to assist you in the game ; Build new items, repair ships, mine asteroids, tons of quests, lots to do

Dumbed down from Puzzle Quest – Warlords and that is a shame ; Too easy at times and way too difficult at other times ; Not as fun as PQ-Challenge of the Warlords

Graphically Puzzle Quest: Galactrix has some nice graphics in every single way. Galactic maps, menus, puzzle board and everything else is crisp and clear and not once do you ever have to think about what is on the screen it just becomes instantly...

Puzzle Quest: Galactrix (PC) review

Infinite's crossover classic trades scythes for sci-fi...

Still addictive, but lacking the original's impact.
