Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad

World War II has never been this interesting. Five years ago, most gamers where tired of seeing WWII games, and now the cool kids are playing modern warfare shooters. If you're sick of the current trend in this genre, and want something that's a little...

Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad

A first-person shooter for those who don't want to keep hopping

Solid gunplay; something different in a genre plagued with Call of Duty clones; excellent multiplayer combat.

Shoddy presentation; riddled with bugs, some intrusive; you're easy to spot in cover; Germans and Soviets look far too alike; poor AI in campaign.

Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad

Immersive single player campaign, several informed tutorials, squad/tank command, large and detailed maps, historically accurate weapons and tanks, minimal HUD for realism, online battles with up to 64 players, an unlocking system for multiplayer, many...

Often clumsy gameplay, annoying and unintelligent AI, graphics are lesser than the competition, redundant single player objectives.

Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad Review

Mostly authentic look at infantry combat in WWII, Extremely challenging, due to realistic modeling of damage and cover, Atmospheric, well-designed maps

Single-player campaigns afflicted with terrible AI, Has a very steep learning curve for new players

Review: Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad (PC)

In terms of realism, this title is the king. The lack of HUD makes it possible to really feel like you’re on the battlefield. You don’t have to worry about running out of ammo or health if it’s not constantly reminding you on the screen. The gun...

Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad

Red Orchestra is not going to be for everyone, especially if you’re the type of person who puts Call of Duty or Battlefield high up on a pedestal. The mechanics in Red Orchestra are so complex and requires full attention that the extra work involved...
