I'm sure this has happened to all of us. You're hanging out with some friends playing Guitar Hero or Rock Band (whichever rhythm game you please) and the conversation inevitably turns to ?Man, what songs would be awesome to play but will never get into...

Rhythm Zone is a game that has some faults, but those faults of over shadowed by the limitless list of songs you can add.

This Caused Motion Sickness?

For what it is, the only rhythm game currently out on the PC, it is hard to judge Rhythm Zone for its faults. In the long run, most of them are rather forgivable due to the fact that it can literally have an endless library of songs to choose from....

Not a Hero of any kind.

It sure is colorful

to the point of being painful and distracting.; Doesn't feel like you're playing any music; Arbitrary difficulty settings; Easily exploitable scoring system; Not well-synched

It's tempting to call this game Typing of the Rock Band and call it a day. But Rhythm Zone is more than just a Rock Band clone you play with a computer keyboard; it's also an inexpensive way to finally play all of your favorite songs and artists. Even...

Rhythm Zone may not be as ambitious as Rock Band 3, but it does offer music lovers an opportunity to play all their favorite songs for cheap. Even with a few fixable problems, Rhythm Zone is just enough game for just the right price!

It might let you import your own music library, but Rhythm Zone is a poor substitute for the games it apes.
