Rise Of Nations: Rise of Legends

Being a fan of the real time strategy genre I was pretty excited to get my hands on Rise of Legends. Developed by Big Huge Games and published by Microsoft, Rise of Legends looks to improve and expand on the large success of its predecessor Rise of...

Conclusion:With a patch for the online portion and an expansion or two, Rise of Legends could easily become a great RTS game. Until then the lack of depth in the single player campaign and the overall retread feel the game gives you could leave this...

Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends

Big Huge Games lives up to their name with a creative and refreshing take on real-time strategy.

But that's what Quick Battle is for. Whereas Campaign Mode provides a variety of different criteria for victory, Quick Battle focuses solely on the capture of an opponent's base. Each side starts with almost nothing, and only by embracing a race's...

Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends R..

Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends, despite its cumbersome name, is a fun ride through a wildly inventive landscape.

Rise of Legends has developer Brian Reynolds's fingerprints all over it. This is yet another Reynolds strategy game that aims to please the hardcore gamer while being accessible enough for new players to learn the ropes if they are willing to put the...

Something old, something new, something borrowed...

Hotkeys from heaven ; High-style visuals in lovely 3D ; Commendably balanced nations

Hotkeys from hell ; Thin sound effects ; Boring, super-simple Conquer the World

Rise of Nations : Rise of Legends Preview

We got our hands on the upcoming spin-off title and it's looking vastly different than the original.

Overall, Rise of Legendsis looking to become one hell of a strategy gem. It seems to be slightly more accessible than Nations was, but definitely does not lack in complexity for the depth-seekers. Already playing great, Rise of Legends isn't due out...

Plenty of variety in characters and race, Great graphics, Long shelf life

Music is horrible, Storyline isn't that interesting

Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends is the latest release in the Rise of Nations series. The variety of characters and gameplay differentiates it from similar games on the market. It will have a long shelf life with a plenty of new features and playing...

Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends

Just bought it and egads, my 3D accelerator does not meet the requirements of the game, so the game disables EVERYTHING so I can't even try the thing with the lowest possible settings.

The intro videos looked ok, even with my computer

The system requirements are a bit harsh, I know the game would run if it would only let me TRY!
