Saints Row: The Third (PC)

Some games create atmospheric worlds that attempt to draw you in with moving stories about characters seeking a second chance, or cast you as troubled superheroes who push themselves to the limit to fight evil. Saints Row: The Third is not like those...

Saints Row The Third Review

In this third instalment, The Saints have established their gang as the predominant and controlling force in Stilwater. They're now a marketable brand and with their own line in clothing and energy drinks, are happy to reap the benefits. Despite...

Saints Row: The Third attempts to surpass its predecessors in the crazy stakes, while providing a true sandbox experience, and somehow it manages to do so while waving massive sex-toys around. It’s an extremely well crafted box of tricks that allows...

Saints Row: The Third - Genki Bowl VII Review

Genki Bowl VII's four quick activities lack the excitement and humor of your earlier adventures in Steelport.

Sad Panda Skyblazing is an outrageous new activity ; Adds a huge ball of yarn to your garage

Two new events are just disappointing variants on existing activities ; Lacks the core game's humor ; Very brief

After completing your first Genki Apocalypse event, you're invited to take advantage of a Super Ethical PR Opportunity. Here, you must drive the psychopathic professor himself to a public appearance. Professor Genki's ride, the Genki Mobile, is...

Saints Row: The Third

You could nitpick on so many things here, but that wouldn't take away from the fact that Saints Row: The Third, with its fantastic visuals and use of music is miles ahead of anything that's come in the franchise before.

My favorite cheat by far though was the add money cheat which opens up a ton of activities in the city earlier than you'd normally be able to, and that's important when you're trying to get a sex change...

Saints Row: The Third Review

Fantastic missions, outrageous weapons, and awesome vehicles make the open-world mayhem of Saints Row: The Third an absolute blast.

Great assortment of vehicles and weapons with which to wreak explosive havoc ; Outrageous story missions and fun activities ; Wonderful variety of customization options ; Constantly doles out cool rewards

Occasional glitches

One thing you definitely shouldn't ignore is the main story. Within just the first few missions, you plummet out of a plane and into an airborne shoot-out, skydive into a penthouse that belongs to a rival gang, use a UAV drone to call in guided...

Saints Row: The Third

Full disclosure, I'm not a huge fan of the Grand Theft Auto series. Oh sure, I've played each and every one of them and I fully realize that GTA 3 revolutionized gaming across most genres, finally showing the power of a truly open world environment....

Other than that, everything is the same as it ever was (I know I said that above, but it bears repeating). Co-op gameplay is still a good option for multiplayer and the addition of a survival mode (which each round containing some off-the-wall rule of...

An open-world crime game steps out of the

There is, alas, an equally wide variety of rare glitchy hiccups, like disappearing vehicles and the occasional mission objectives that lounge teasingly behind unopenable doors. When these dead ends crop up, though, there’s no shortage of other things...

Saints Row: The Third review: Voltion makes it rain purple on PS3, Xbox 360, PC

Alex joins the Saints for an explosive and explicit trip to Steelport. See how THQ and Voltion's Saints Row the Third measures up with our review.

Despite playing it fast and loose, Saints Row: The Third is more than equal to the sum of its occasionally rickety parts. It does plenty of things right, but qualifies as a success right out of the box because it understands what people tend do in...

Saints Row: The Third review [Xbox?

My character is a gruff-voiced, broad-shouldered badass with anime eyes and hamster cheeks. He wears costumes that would suit a latter-day Elvis, and sports gelled hair that wouldn?t look out of place on the set of Grease. All things considered, he?s a...
