Sniper: Ghost Warrior (PC)

Snipers are some of the deadliest and most frustrating soldiers to deal with in shooters, so it's very appealing to be the one behind the scope in Sniper: Ghost Warrior. The trouble is that a lot of design miscues by developer City Interactive make it...

Sniper: Ghost Warrior

It's been years since Golog 13: Top Secret Episode introduced sniper rifles into first person shooters (FPS) and through the ages they have been dealt with in a variety of different ways. From stealth based affairs like Project I.G.I. to more action...

Sniper: Ghost Warrior on PC games

Don't Kill, Unless You Want To

Calling this game “broken” might too nice of a describing word. But if you can ignore the flaws for a few minutes, Sniper might be worth checking out just to witness the high graphical qualities. If you really need the urge to play through a game as a...

Sniper: Ghost Warrior

A budget title takes the fun out of spinery.

The graphics are surprisingly good for a budget title, in spite of some sloppy animation and chunky shadows, but they can’t distract much from a ho-hum script, an utterly generic plot centered around regime-change and drug-running on a fictional South...

Sniper: Ghost Warrior Review

In a lot of action games, especially first person shooters, many players tend to grab the sniper rifle as their first choice of weapon, which sets up Sniper: Ghost Warrior nicely: why not base the entire game around sniping? Good idea, but as is the...

Sniping mechanics — to some extent ; Great visuals — but limited

Too linear ; Lots of bugs ; Awful level design ; Bad stealth mechanics

Sniper: Ghost Warrior

You know what? Screw it. I like loading out as a sniper when playing first person shooter games like Modern Warfare 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Gamer bravado and core pride pushed aside, I find playing as a sniper to be one of the most...

The true genius of the trainer though is that it even makes the assault sections, easily the worst parts of the game a lot more bearable. You have unlimited ammo, unlimited health and unlimited med kits. At best, it makes these sections go by quicker,...

Sniper: Ghost Warrior PC Preview

This being my third E3, one universal truth I've found about the show is that there's always a few under the radar titles that should be getting more attention than they do. While a title like Sniper: Ghost Warrior sounds like the kind of budget title...

Sniper: Ghost Warrior will sneak its way onto Xbox 360 and PC on June 29th

Sniper fans know what they want.... and this is not it.

I guess I was hoping for more (and maybe less in some respects). It seems they wanted to appeal to the general public with some 1st person shooter excitement but that is what most snipers want to get away from. Taking time to get into a position,...

Headshot Deathcam is awesome ; The multiplayer has potential ; When you actually get to do some sniping it is challenging enough and requires some skill in the harder modes

AI in single player is awful ; The levels are very small and closed as I keep running into invisible walls ; You can't complete a mission the way you want because everything is scripted

nice try maybe next time

This is a well thought game, nice bullet cam kills, heartbeat monitor and rader to identify hostiles but it came short and was poorly excuted. This game could have potential but came up short for me. I dont know why but this game is laggy, the movmenet...

Great thought for a game, but poorly excuted

I dont know, but its laggy for me, tried putting graphics down but it keeps putting itself on Maximum, and first time playing, keep getting stuck on terrain
