Tears of Betrayal

A dark street. A car engine revs. A woman crosses the street. A scream… You wake up and notice that your beloved Roxanne is not lying in bed beside you. A note lies on her pillow. Where is she? Did something happen to her or was it all a nightmare?

Tears of Betrayal

Nostalgia is a curious beast. Hearing about the old school points system in Tears of Betrayal, along with its combination of mouse and text input, brought back memories of hours spent playing the Police Quest games, so I was quite keen to review this...

Initially interesting story; old school points system offers some interest; optional control methods

Over-emphasis on gambling; few puzzles; poor graphics; lack of character development; no depth to the storyline; poor controls

Despite an interesting beginning, Tears of Betrayal lacks the puzzles, fun and inspiration needed to keep players motivated.
