Yohoho And a bottle of rum

The Curse of Monkey Island is an adventure game. Pardon me, it is an excellent adventure game. What does adventure game mean exactly? It means that you control the hero, Guybrush Threepwood, as he interacts with his environment. You can pick up various...

Doesn't live up to the series but what the heck! Get it!

This game is a good adventure game no doubt about it. For those of you who have played Monkey Island 1 or 2, all the characters make a nice showcase. There is snappy dialogue, tricky puzzles, the whole schnooze. Three-headed monkey scam never stops to...

funny jokes, some clever puzzles

classic Monkey Islanders might be somewhat disappointed, weird animation

Shiver me timbers, this is a good game!

Lucas Arts are amazing. Some don't know that CMI is the third in the Monkey Island series, but even new players to the series don't need tons of background on the series to sit down and play a quality computer game. CMI has great graphics, sound, a...

More fun than a Barrel of Monkeys!

What a riot! I was introduced to this game in late 1998. When my friend first mentioned it, I was thinking that it wasn't my type of game. I usually go for role-playing games (Baldur's Gate is the best!), or some strategy / war games (Lords of Magic,...

One of the funniest games I've ever seen

Fairly straightforward. Don't expect intricate puzzles

This game cracked me up

As a "Leisure Suit Larry" die hard fan, I enjoy adventure games that are comedy based. I spotted this in the bargain bin, I thought "What the heck, It looks funny"

Funny, can set difficulty

Nothing

A WONDERFUL CURSE TO BE UNDER!!

We truly didn't play the first two Monkey Islands but when this one came along the cover caught our eye, since our son was a huge pirate fan at that time. So we got it for him he was only six at the time. And it wound up being a little to hard for him...

wonderful witty & good graphics

that there's no one Monkey Island 4 yet to go on too

No Superlatives Are Enough To Do This Game Justice

Years ago I played The first two installments of Lucasarts' famous Monkey Island series and let me tell you, I have rarely laughed so much in front of the computer! The Curse of Monkey Island arrived and my socks were blown off. I remember thinking...

Hilarious. Wonderful cartoon-style graphics. A delight to play. Never EVER dull

That it has to ever end

Go loot yerself a copy, matey!

This is the third installment of Lucas Arts' excellent Monkey Island series. This time around, the graphics have been greatly enhanced and voices have been added.

Great humor, great voice acting, great music, entertaining puzzles

5 minutes of monotony out of the 60 hours playing time

A Beautiful Riot of a Game

Ever since the original Secret of Monkey's Island, LucasArts has turned out some amazingly funny and enjoyable adventure games. I remember playing Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2 at least a couple of times each... laughing my head off each time.

It's from LucasArts! Great graphics and voice acting

Much too short. Ending is abrupt
