World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Review

Mists of Pandaria's glittering forests and engaging activities feel fresh despite the game's reliance on familiar tropes.

Plenty of activities to keep you engaged ; Pandaren race and monk class offer variety ; Gorgeous expanses to explore ; Challenge mode is a great way to test your skills

Phasing gets in the way of adding friends to the fold ; Pet battle system lacks the thrill of discovery

Let's be totally honest: you clicked on this review desiring to find me hunched over Blizzard's corpse, stabbing repeatedly, whilst cackling the cackle of a madman. You'd be happy to think of me as a maniacal bounty hunter, blood on my knife, and World...

Mists of Pandaria adds more miles to WoW's incredible milometer and seals the game as the strongest MMORPG out there.

Bunny boiler.

Some exceptional art design. Simplified gameplay will appeal to new players. Surprisingly bug free for an MMO launch. Notable reduction in grind. Gameplay is still addictive and engaging. Nice to see the return of some classic vanilla dungeons

Game definitely does feel child-friendly by comparison to former outings. Engine is definitely showing its age, especially by comparison to more contemporary titles. Playerbase has ossified into elitist misanthropes

Inevitable.
