Bad dimm!
A set of DDR2-800 dimms at this rather high price (given today's DDR2-800 prices) should NOT be leaving the factory floor unless they are working. That's something one might expect of DDR2-800s at half of this price, which I avoided for this very reason....
I've had one set of these dimms that worked flawlessly in various overclocking environments for 18 months. However, that's expected at this price range ;

looks good in my P5E-VM HDMI
2.3v and 1200MHz solid. acheived with really loose timings though. 6-7-6-20. its solid, but its scary.
