The Altec Lansing Orbit USB Stereo iML247 is very affordable and very portable, but its sound is what you would expect from a $50 speaker system, with poor bass response and distortion at high volumes.

Great sound for such a small system. I use it in my classroom and it performs admirably. Subwoofer is absolutely solid but the satellites can break up at higher volumes. Just be attentive to volume and enjoy the sound.
