The sound is not the best quality but these are good speakers for the price. Really, who buys penguin speakers for their sound quality? I like these speakers because they are soft-sided so they don't break or make a lot of noise when my cats knock them...

The speakers are great for people that like penguins and like collecting penguin items (the person I gave these too loves them) however.... for serving the purpose of speakers the sound is punny, and distorted. They don't connect correctly, sometimes...

The first time I received these speakers one of the speakers was broken. When I received the replacement, the on/off switch always remained on. They're really cute and the sound quality isn't terrible, but they are cheap and defective.

The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the sound quality is not great. However, if you're buying these speakers it's probably not for the sound quality. They are absolutely adorable. I bought them for my cube at work. They even have bean bag butts.
