Easy setup, great sound.

Easy to set up, good for small spaces. I didn't have room for a 7.1 surround setup and this is a good alternative. I recommend you get a good sound card to go with this.

compact 2.1 setup produces great sound

My remote power button broke in the first week but was replaced for free through Corsair's awesome customer service team

Excellent Sound Quality

For the price, it's a great buy. You can obviously find better systems, but they're considerably more expensive.

My tech knowledge is mediocre, but I've also been write/produce/mixing music for some years now. I needed a stereo set that had the clarity for mixing and reference, but with the capability for some seriously EQ'd gaming/video action. That's exactly...

The subwoofer could be a bit louder in reference mode, but if you put it in "Dynamic Pop" mode on the controller it goes into awesome overdrive. So not really a problem, just a preference. No eggs lost. Or cracked, as it were

amazing and reliable

Just what I wanted. I replaced my 5.1 speaker set with corsair speakers and I like it way more. Clear and crisp sounds and a superb sub woofer

Amazing Speakers!

You need a stand alone sound card to really unlock this beast. Still sounds good with onboard audio but a sound card makes a difference

Crisp mids and highs even at max volume(which is painful but wonderful) Bass will shake your windows. Easy setup! These are the best 2.1 speakers on the market at the 500$ range or less. Don't let the price turn you off, they are worth every penny and...

Remote cord really stiff..doesnt let the remote lay completely flat on your desk

Awesome Speakers!

Got these on sale and haven't regretted a penny I spent on them.

Great sound out of these speakers in many situations. Easy to customize the built in EQ combined with iTunes (or whatever media player) for great sounding music ; The Gaming modes are awesome. FPS gives great stereo separation to hear which side things...

Nothing major. Only small thing is that the provided wedges for angling the speakers up don't work terribly well. The speakers slowly slide off from vibrations on the desk

Expectations set too high

These are great speakers, but don't expect too much. I have been using these with onboard sound though, so I'm hoping with my new X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty sound card, I'll notice a bigger difference. The bass is tight and nice, but it's honestly not...

They get loud without any distortion, they're clear and crisp. Relatively small satellites are good for limited desk space

To be quite honest, I was expecting much more from what I've read. All I kept reading was that these things were the new standard in PC speakers, and they were just absolutely amazing - matching up to speakers in the $500+ range ; I guess I expected...

Simply Amazing

Couldn't be more pleased.

This system gets extremely loud for its size and price, yet it remains crystal clear at all volume levels. It literally makes things fall off the walls in my room mates rooms. Due to the individual amps for each driver every sound was reproduced in a...

The sub box is almost the size of a Honda Civic. Other than that the only con I can think of for this system, is now I wont be able to settle for anything that doesn't meet or exceed the quality, power, and over-all performance of this powerhouse

Perfect balance between sattelites and sub

You want the best? Listen to nothing else but this review, and dial them in [the speakers,] out of the box they only approach their potential, you will be rewarded with the best 2.1 system ever offered for sale. And the most powerful.

These satellites have the brightest, uninhibited frequency of any satellites I have ever heard, and at 56 RMS each, they aren't just power, but so sharp and well designed in the frequency distribution, of both the tweeters and mid-range. To the...

If you do not have at least an X-Fi platinum sound card, you need one to make these speakers work best. Only onboard sound from the very best motherboards will do, like my MSI 890FXA-GD70 will do adequately. Just be aware, the more time you take to...

Logitech Can't Compete Even With THX

I own the SP2200's and like them as well. They are solid speakers but I wanted to experience something at the next tier, and this definitely delivered. Well done Corsair, keep making audio products to high standard and improve these models with tweaks...

The sound is so clean and clear, even on modern on-board chipsets (I tried on an RT ALC892 and it sounded really good surprisingly). I didn't crank it all the way, so I'm sure the onboard would struggle at that point. Hooking it up to an X-Fi Fatal1ty...

The wires seemed to just make it in length. I am wondering if Corsair updated the length before these shipments were brought to the newegg warehouse. The cables seem to be about 6'-8' in length. My controller arrived with a dead pixel, which is an...

Corsair Gaming Audio Series SP2500 High-power 2.1 PC Speaker System

It may be a placebo affect but I swear that the sound separation is excellent. Its most noticeable with classical music where you can hear every little detail. This may also be that I use a sound card instead of onboard audio.

Awesome sound. Everything comes out crystal clear and these speakers get incredibly loud. I had no problems running these at max volume for extended periods of time

The subwoofer is giant and takes up most of the space under my desk
