Corsair SP2500 - Colossal Chaos

The desktop speaker market has been somewhat ignored over the last couple of years. The exciting days of large, powerful speakers specifically designed for the desktop PCs have long gone. Corsair's new SP2500 are a 2.1 speaker set designed specifically...

Corsair is selling the SP2500 for Rs. 12,200, which is a lot more than some of the popular 2.1 speakers such as the legendary Altec Lansing MX5021 for example. The MX5021 is hard to find these days, but with vey few good options in the market, this is...

Corsair SP2500 Gaming Audio Speakers Review

There is absolutely nothing subtle about Corsair's SP2500 Gaming Audio Speakers: This monstrous 2.1-channel system could start a riot. After just a few minutes listening to Les Claypool shred his stand-up acoustic bass on the Primus classic “Mr....

We still prefer B&W’s MM-1 or the combination of Audioengine's N22 amp and P4 speakers for critical listening, but each of those systems cost twice as much as the P2500, and neither will fill as large a room

Corsair SP2500 review

Corsair may be better known for making computer components, but the company is hoping to claim a piece of the speaker market with the SP2500 2.1 set. Headsets that appeal to gamers are fairly commonplace, but this is the first time we've seen a set of...

We're not sure they're ideal for gamers, but we are sure that they produce excellent, high-quality audio.

Great Sound

I've looked at other systems and those with just 2 speakers (no subwoofer). Without jumping up a tier in price to something costing 2x as much, this seems to be the best product in this price range. I realize others have had issues after 1-1 1/2 years...

Great sound, even at the lowest volume settings

Garbage

If you want this speaker system research first on issues. Plenty out there.

Great sound, best PC sounding system out there

On my 2nd one. 1st failed after 1 1/2 years. Woofer just died. Power or crossover no idea. RMA shipping is cost prohibitive. Bought a refurb replacement direct from Corsair. 2nd one was dead on arrival. At this point decided to see if 1could be made...

Good card, Great value, better than Xfired 270Xs.

I read and watched a lot of great reviews before purchasing this speaker system. To my dismay I found the mids to be recessed, muddy and muffled. I read that this speaker system would underperform if run straight off the motherboard therefore requiring...

3-way system: Tweeters, midrange and subwoofer ; Clarity at high levels, powerful, high noise floor ; Bi-amped with (for me) ample cable lengths ; Great detail and separation

Muddy, muffled midrange if the card or amp is not up to the task

Just buy it ya dingus

Gosh dang it these speakers are straight fire. Buy these cause they are the only choice. They sound fantastic, look pretty sick, and corsair is just an all around high quality company. They even replaced a broken part for me after I lost proof of...

None, they're actually perfect

Good Stuff

They seem very sturdy, but I have seen some bad reviews. We'll see in the long run how they perform. For now they're A-OK

These speakers sound awesome...great separation/ampflication

None so far, worried about cranking them too high for too long

Stay Away from this Garbage

Few years ago I built my son a gamer rig for when he went off to college and he had extra money and wanted a killer sound system to complete his rig at school so he went ahead and bought this as I told em in years past I was very happy with Corsairs PS...

Looks awesome and pretty powerful ; worked well for just over a year

Over priced and fool you with the Corsair name that this is something of quality and power. Completely died after just over a years use and took a gamer build with it. read below
