Corsair SP2500 - Colossal Chaos

The desktop speaker market has been somewhat ignored over the last couple of years. The exciting days of large, powerful speakers specifically designed for the desktop PCs have long gone. Corsair's new SP2500 are a 2.1 speaker set designed specifically...

Corsair is selling the SP2500 for Rs. 12,200, which is a lot more than some of the popular 2.1 speakers such as the legendary Altec Lansing MX5021 for example. The MX5021 is hard to find these days, but with vey few good options in the market, this is...

Corsair SP2500 Gaming Audio Speakers Review

There is absolutely nothing subtle about Corsair's SP2500 Gaming Audio Speakers: This monstrous 2.1-channel system could start a riot. After just a few minutes listening to Les Claypool shred his stand-up acoustic bass on the Primus classic “Mr....

We still prefer B&W’s MM-1 or the combination of Audioengine's N22 amp and P4 speakers for critical listening, but each of those systems cost twice as much as the P2500, and neither will fill as large a room

Corsair SP2500 review

Corsair may be better known for making computer components, but the company is hoping to claim a piece of the speaker market with the SP2500 2.1 set. Headsets that appeal to gamers are fairly commonplace, but this is the first time we've seen a set of...

We're not sure they're ideal for gamers, but we are sure that they produce excellent, high-quality audio.

If these speakers had not gone kaboom in 4 years, I would give this product 5 stars. Every other experience I've had with them has been stellar.

Great sound ; Easy controls ; Stylish if you care about that kind of thing

I bought these in 2011 almost exactly 4 years ago. Last night one of the speakers blew and started smoking. Now the whole system does not work. For 250ish bucks, I wouldn't expect this of Corsair, I understand that they are 4 years old, but I would...

Yes!! Deep powerful sound at a good price!

In addition to my home stereo system, this pc speaker set makes an easy go to for music on the fly or online!

Best 2.1 speaker system I found to date at a reasonable price. Last great pc set was from Dells Harmon Kardon HK395 ; Additional AUX inputs (2) 3.5 Jacks ; I would definitely recommend this setup to a friend for sure

If I had to pick some ; Bass speaker enclosure is kinda big ; No individual Bass & Treble settings ; Your stuck with 5 or so preset EQ configurations

These are top flight speakers

I would really recommend these to all my friends who are even close to audiophiles.

Crisp sound and very good highs and mids. The subwoofer is hot and powerful if you don't have any neighbors. They beat my Klipsch 2.1 PC Speakers and Klipsch knows how to make speakers. But for PC speakers the Corsair are extremely hard to beat

Expensive side of the road

never again

Trust me when I say this. The only speakers out there that worth the money are the Bose Companion 5. Yea they are expensive but at the end of the day you get a set of great quality speakers with a beautiful lows, mids, and highs, and most important...

Is look like a nice set of speakers and it promised to be a great investment. The overall quality looks excellent I can tell. If you have an iMac or a Pc you will have the perfect convention of speakers and they look great

They arrive in apparently great conditions. The box was in excellent condition in general. Unfortunately the left speaker never work the way it was supposed to. Corsair Custumer service is not the best and I was not willing to go trow trouble shooting...

Corsair SP2500

I would have preferred the settings to be configurable from software instead of limiting it to the remote but I guess it's to maximize compatibility since it eliminates the need for drivers entirely.

No distortion with high volume ; Good frequency range ; Many options to configure to your preferred listening experience for various music genres, movies and games

The remote is wired to the back of the unit with a relatively short cord, which sort of defeats the purpose of having a remote in the first place
