Corsair SP2500 - Colossal Chaos

The desktop speaker market has been somewhat ignored over the last couple of years. The exciting days of large, powerful speakers specifically designed for the desktop PCs have long gone. Corsair's new SP2500 are a 2.1 speaker set designed specifically...

Corsair is selling the SP2500 for Rs. 12,200, which is a lot more than some of the popular 2.1 speakers such as the legendary Altec Lansing MX5021 for example. The MX5021 is hard to find these days, but with vey few good options in the market, this is...

Corsair SP2500 Gaming Audio Speakers Review

There is absolutely nothing subtle about Corsair's SP2500 Gaming Audio Speakers: This monstrous 2.1-channel system could start a riot. After just a few minutes listening to Les Claypool shred his stand-up acoustic bass on the Primus classic “Mr....

We still prefer B&W’s MM-1 or the combination of Audioengine's N22 amp and P4 speakers for critical listening, but each of those systems cost twice as much as the P2500, and neither will fill as large a room

Corsair SP2500 review

Corsair may be better known for making computer components, but the company is hoping to claim a piece of the speaker market with the SP2500 2.1 set. Headsets that appeal to gamers are fairly commonplace, but this is the first time we've seen a set of...

We're not sure they're ideal for gamers, but we are sure that they produce excellent, high-quality audio.

never again

Trust me when I say this. The only speakers out there that worth the money are the Bose Companion 5. Yea they are expensive but at the end of the day you get a set of great quality speakers with a beautiful lows, mids, and highs, and most important...

Is look like a nice set of speakers and it promised to be a great investment. The overall quality looks excellent I can tell. If you have an iMac or a Pc you will have the perfect convention of speakers and they look great

They arrive in apparently great conditions. The box was in excellent condition in general. Unfortunately the left speaker never work the way it was supposed to. Corsair Custumer service is not the best and I was not willing to go trow trouble shooting...

Corsair SP2500

I would have preferred the settings to be configurable from software instead of limiting it to the remote but I guess it's to maximize compatibility since it eliminates the need for drivers entirely.

No distortion with high volume ; Good frequency range ; Many options to configure to your preferred listening experience for various music genres, movies and games

The remote is wired to the back of the unit with a relatively short cord, which sort of defeats the purpose of having a remote in the first place

Very Nice 2.1's

I got these to replace a Altec Lancing 2.1 about 10 years old. I had them delivered to work and I unpacked them. Got them all hooked up. These things will serious kill your office working environment. I loaded up Battlefield 4 and the bass...

I did have to remove the speakers from my work environment and bring them home. When my son comes out of his room complaining I tell him its an 80's thing

These have gotten me into trouble in my dorm, but I don't care, I love them, for any kind of music, movie, or game. They always deliver great sound and when you want to turn it up, it delivers. Going to keep this set for a long long time.

Clean, Accurate, Powerful, Great looks

Keep subwoofer away from feet, can damage the box over time

Good Speakers

These are very nice speakers. I'm not a hifi speaker expert or anything, but these sound incredible to my ears. They can get really loud without distortion. Volume isn't what I bought these for, but it is nice to know that playing music at a...

Good sound ; Great Volume ; No Distortion

None really

good quality, good sound, not dynamic

I have been in the audio business for over 20 years, I have designed, built and engineered world championship car audio SQ systems. This set up is nice, and would be a steal at $150 or less; however for the price most should pick something else. If you...

Good construction, very good mid and high frequency sounds. The remote is wired, but is very nice and has a lot of features. This is a good quality PC speaker set up, if you love clear music which is not too loud

This system is not very dynamic at all. The subwoofer looks nice, and looks powerful; however it is all. The sound is crisp and clear, but the volume is lacking. For a system at this price it should be very dynamic

Corsair SP2500

I find these speakers to provide exemplary sound quality for the price. For me using a 2.1 system that provides good sound for music and voice is the most important feature a speaker system should have. Many other computer speakers use 5.1 or even 7.1...

Not the cheapest ; Not the smallest sub ; Corsair instructs you during set up that these speakers should be driven at full volume by the device they are connected to. but fails to mention they are not able to handle 300 or 600 ohm
