Corsair SP2500 Gaming Audio Speakers Review

There is absolutely nothing subtle about Corsair's SP2500 Gaming Audio Speakers: This monstrous 2.1-channel system could start a riot. After just a few minutes listening to Les Claypool shred his stand-up acoustic bass on the Primus classic “Mr....

We still prefer B&W’s MM-1 or the combination of Audioengine's N22 amp and P4 speakers for critical listening, but each of those systems cost twice as much as the P2500, and neither will fill as large a room

Corsair SP2500 - Colossal Chaos

The desktop speaker market has been somewhat ignored over the last couple of years. The exciting days of large, powerful speakers specifically designed for the desktop PCs have long gone. Corsair's new SP2500 are a 2.1 speaker set designed specifically...

Corsair is selling the SP2500 for Rs. 12,200, which is a lot more than some of the popular 2.1 speakers such as the legendary Altec Lansing MX5021 for example. The MX5021 is hard to find these days, but with vey few good options in the market, this is...

Corsair SP2500 review

Corsair may be better known for making computer components, but the company is hoping to claim a piece of the speaker market with the SP2500 2.1 set. Headsets that appeal to gamers are fairly commonplace, but this is the first time we've seen a set of...

We're not sure they're ideal for gamers, but we are sure that they produce excellent, high-quality audio.

Corsair SP2500

The box says 232 watts and the booklet, which has the same exact graphic on it, says 220 watts. Not sure why, but you won't care either once you fire these speakers up. Comes with two satellite (speaker) stands, for aiming the speakers more directly...

These speakers are seriously loud. I would say even louder than my cars audio system - which has a premium Bose system - with all the windows closed. If you were throwing a house party, these speakers would be an ample source of music. You simply wont...

Underpriced?

I wasn't aware how subpar my old speakers were until I heard these. I honestly think they might even sound better than the Bose system in my car, which is outstanding. Didn't know Corsair made speakers before a buddy suggested I get these when I...

Very clean highs. Powerful lows. All around clarity ; Comes with a wonderful controller unit that has separate dials for bass and volume as well as EQ, Mode, and Line In options. Very easy to use. Doesn't take up too much space. Attractive design

these are the best speakers ive ever owned

more than happy with these speakers.

These can go as loud as anyone would need them to go and beyond, with great clarity ; the "remote" is very convenient for turning the sound up or down while the screen is fullsized in a movie or game without having to revert back to the desktop ; the...

Defect in Corsair speakers

Save yourself some cash and get the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 for $149. I have a pair of those as well and never had a problem. I regret purchasing Corsair speakers, and will never do so again.

Will work for a while

Corsair speakers have an inherent defect where the left speaker will start to crackle like static after 1-2 years of use, first identified in the SP2200. I contacted them about this and was told my warranty expired. You can google it, there is DIY out...

3-1/2 Years Strong

On/Off button failed on mine after about two years. Corsair cross-shipped a replacement without even running an authorization on my credit card. Driving mine with an Asus 7.1 soundcard using its graphic equalizer. Great product even at $250.

Loud. Real loud. Much much louder than you think it will be ; Punchy bass with clear highs ; Seriously, if you live in an apartment complex your neighbors, and possibly their neighbors, are going to NOT LIKE YOU

Older models are famous for control unit failure
