Shiny cabinets

These speakers are better for a bookshelf than for a desktop,

Look pretty on my desktop though a bit large

Muddy sound despite three way speaker system, came with crushed speaker cone on one channel. Packing made me wonder how they got here in one piece at all. Tiny guage speaker wire

Received Open Box, DAMAGED speakers!

None

Damaged and open box! I paid for new speakers! It looks like some kid stuck his fingers in the cones on these and damaged them! Box was in horrible shape

Great general purpose speakers

I use these speakers on my home storage server to play music remotely. They handle different genres pretty well. The sound is overall balanced, with adjustable bass and treble.

Easy to setup and has front-side headphone ports which are nice.

Doesn't take up too much space and sound quality is surprising for $50 speakers ; Great for apartment or condos where too much bass is an issue

Bass is a bit underwhelming and sometimes sounds muddy for certain frequencies

Worthless Product Description

None

What does "distraction" mean? It should be "distortion". What does "respectively" mean in "treble, midrange, bass, respectively"? There is no use for the word in this context at all

Perfect speakers for audio, not bass

The reviews are correct, these speakers are for people who don't and can't have bass, like apartment living. However we still want and demand quality. These speakers not only look sexy, they deliver intense performance ,from music, to first person...

Let's face it price price price ; Quality: they are seriously heavy speakers, not cheap plastic at all very well constructed was seriously impressed mind you coming from logitech z 5300 ; Style: glossy black finish is slick, makes nice for office or...

The surface is a glossy black finish, just like some laptops and outer shells of graphics cards. So therefore scratches are easy, too easy. I recommend keeping the wrapper on untill you get the speakers set up completely ; I don't think I would have...

Bang for your buck

Price is really good for the quality. If you're looking for a great sound to fill a medium sized room this is a good speaker for you ; Sounds really good for me

I think it has pretty good bass, but some of my friends that are sound nazis say it's bass is lacking unless bass is all the way up

If you are on a budget and you are looking for a 2.0 computer speaker system, you can't go wrong with these. I even hate to mention budget because I would have payed much more for these speakers, knowing what I know about them now. Of course, a proper...

Let me begin this by saying this the first time that I've rated a product, but I feel that must say a bit about these speakers. I was in the market for a good computer speakers for my "work" computer, and after much research I stumbled upon these. I am...

Not much to say here. There seems to be some issues with switching between the various inputs. That is not an issue for me

Just Plain Awful

The freq response probably is 160-20k, not the 20-20k advertised, someone should get fired for that little lie. These 'speakers' seem to have a steep rolloff below 160hz, and no response at all below 80hz, no guts whatsoever. Maybe a good set for...

Average spkrs.

Was disappointed in these. Sold my Logitech 7.1's for a pr. Less wires. Sound quality not as good. They look better than they sound. Maybe I can sell these and get my money back.
