Genius SP-HF1800A

Sounds pretty darn good for the price. Infact I'd say they're better than most around the same range. This is for somebody looking for speakers that provide a full sound and isn't doctored too much like most "computer speakers" or "gaming speakers."...

The input cable is too short. I had to use the right speaker on the left side to reach my computer

Just awesome

Feels solid, produces great sound. I discovers that there's music that plays at greater than 320kbps and my headphones could keep up but my desktop speakers were a joke. This was a great buy

Wish the knobs had more obvious level markers. It's hard to tell if how far you've turned it. No big deal though

Great speakers for price, until they fail.

Good not great sound, nice heavy construction, look great on your desk

Left speaker will fail you over time. I've had these for around 4 years and today it finally stopped working. Reading other reviews it looks like I got lucky that they even lasted this long. Save your money and spend 200-300 for a quality set of...

Shiny cabinets

These speakers are better for a bookshelf than for a desktop,

Look pretty on my desktop though a bit large

Muddy sound despite three way speaker system, came with crushed speaker cone on one channel. Packing made me wonder how they got here in one piece at all. Tiny guage speaker wire

Received Open Box, DAMAGED speakers!

Damaged and open box! I paid for new speakers! It looks like some kid stuck his fingers in the cones on these and damaged them! Box was in horrible shape

Great general purpose speakers

I use these speakers on my home storage server to play music remotely. They handle different genres pretty well. The sound is overall balanced, with adjustable bass and treble.

Genius SP-HF1800A

Easy to setup and has front-side headphone ports which are nice.

Doesn't take up too much space and sound quality is surprising for $50 speakers ; Great for apartment or condos where too much bass is an issue

Bass is a bit underwhelming and sometimes sounds muddy for certain frequencies

Worthless Product Description

What does "distraction" mean? It should be "distortion". What does "respectively" mean in "treble, midrange, bass, respectively"? There is no use for the word in this context at all
