Very good, but be warned...

I looked at the star rating, the price and SOME of the specs and hit that pesky one-click order button. The speakers look good and sound good but as some other have said they are HUGE! The picture online makes them look innocent enough, but whip out...

Great for the price

For the pricerange, this speakers sounds great. Low bass, punchy mids, and clean highs. They feel solidly built too. My only gripes would be that I wish that the power cord and the satellite speaker cord had plugs (they just feed right out of the...

Wow!

I'm by no means an audiophile, but for approx. 60 bucks, I don't think you can beat these speakers. They're gigantic for computer desk speakers, look great and sound pretty amazing. Heavy wood enclosures give good sound. Can''t believe the quality...

I promise you, you want regret this purchase.

Priced at $60 (with free S&H), I doubt that you'd find a better deal elsewhere. These speakers not only look great, but they also have amazing clarity. And they deliver powerful (not muddy) bass even with the absence of a subwoofer - which was...

stopped working after 1 hour

Sounded good, maybe a little bass heavy. Stopped working after 1 hour, return shipping would be more expensive than getting a new pair of speakers.

Shiny cabinets

These speakers are better for a bookshelf than for a desktop,

Look pretty on my desktop though a bit large

Muddy sound despite three way speaker system, came with crushed speaker cone on one channel. Packing made me wonder how they got here in one piece at all. Tiny guage speaker wire

Received Open Box, DAMAGED speakers!

None

Damaged and open box! I paid for new speakers! It looks like some kid stuck his fingers in the cones on these and damaged them! Box was in horrible shape

Great general purpose speakers

I use these speakers on my home storage server to play music remotely. They handle different genres pretty well. The sound is overall balanced, with adjustable bass and treble.

Genius SP-HF1800A

Easy to setup and has front-side headphone ports which are nice.

Doesn't take up too much space and sound quality is surprising for $50 speakers ; Great for apartment or condos where too much bass is an issue

Bass is a bit underwhelming and sometimes sounds muddy for certain frequencies

Great addition to a new HD TV

Easy to install and makes the speakers in my new HD TV not worth listening to. Just wish they had 70-80 Watts instead of only 50, but for a small room, they are perfect and really sound great. Having the full frequency range is great and the Bass that...
