We'll get the big question out of the way up front-one that we posed to the company before K 340 arrived for testing: "What would justify the $120 asking price here?" K 340 is billed as iPhone-compatible, but doesn't have an in-line mic or track ...
Though the in-line volume control isn't ideal in the sense that it's an analog slider, relying not on the iPhone or iPod to optimally reduce its own volume but rather attenuation of whatever audio signal the device is producing, it's one of the nicest ...

Mi2290 is a simple, attractive little unit with a folding speaker half and a clock-laden dock half. The entire body of the black version is black, while the white one has a partially silver underbelly that folds up to parallel the silver backs of some ...
Overall, though we like the price and the way it looks, Mi2290 is hard to recommend on either sonics or features: Memorex has stripped the system down enough that there isn't much left to recommend it. We'd consider it to be a fine option if you're ...

iLounge's editors and readers have had consistently excellent experiences with speaker systems developed by Harman International's JBL and Harman Multimedia units: today, the company's Creature II system (iLounge rating: A) remains at the top of our ...
Superior sound clarity and accuracy to their class-leading Creature predecessors, similarly besting more expensive alternatives in the process. Bass and treble adjustment allows you to calibrate the sound to your tastes ; alien-inspired look is unique ...
Bass thump isn't as pronounced at low volume levels as the Creatures. No iPod dock or remote control included for the price. Intended to stay stationary ; iLounge's editors and readers have had consistently excellent experiences with speaker systems ...
Was just checking these out at JBL's site and noticed the MSRP was listed at $149.95. Not sure if it's a mistake, or a price reduction, but if the latter it certainly makes these an even more attractive option

As of the date of this review, the best 2.1 speaker system that we've heard for the price. Attractive white plastic and chrome combination matches full-sized iPods to a T. Full bass and treble adjustment allows you to calibrate the sound to your heart ...
No iPod dock included for the (low) price. Intended to stay fairly stationary ; This review is reprinted from the iLounge 2004 and 2005 Buyers' Guides, having originally appeared in November 2004, and been updated in March 2005
Yeah I bought mine today, along with the Universal Dock. I haven't been able to test it out fully but so far I'm really impressed
