Intempo's InSession iPod dock proves to be stunningly mediocre

Compact, fully functional remote ; creates a fair amount of bass weight

Coloured, hazy sound ; disorganised presentation

The world is awash with mediocre iPod speaker docks and the Intempo InSession falls firmly into that category

Intempo InSession review

Intempo's InSession speaker set for the iPod and iPhone is a step up from the company's previous efforts.

Compact speaker system that produces a good, solid sound

Runs off mains power only, with no option for using batteries

It’s good to see Intempo getting more ambitious with its speaker systems. The InSession isn’t quite powerful enough for a full-scale house party, but it’s a good choice if you just want a neat iPod speaker for listening to music at home.
