JBL Jembe Review

As the PC and notebook market expands, there's a never-ending demand for desktop speakers that can also be used along with a notebook, tablet or phone. This demand as of late has been catered by mostly lesser known brands. JBL is known for its high-end...

JBL sells the Jembe for a price of Rs. 2,990 here in India, which is a tad too much for these speakers. You can carry these speakers around if you want, but they’re not really designed to be used while traveling as such. However, If you’re going to use...

Auto muting doesn't behave well

These speakers have a power saving mode that automatically turns them off after 30 seconds of inactivity. The downside to this is if you're using them throughout the day and you have something like Skype running, you'll miss the first beep every time....

Massive power and clarity in a small package

Very impressed by the output of these guys, they're super clear (as you would expect from jbl), have great bass, and are relatively small - about the size of a soup can, slightly bigger. A longer power cord would be nice though, as well as additional...

Due to the sad state of radio today, I have switched to the internet for casual listening. A pair of ancient computer speakers died, so I listened around, and settled on the Jembe's for use with my notebook computer. Since I need to use the speakers in...

love it

These JBL speakers are perfect for our ASUS desktop. Listening to Pandora is nice, watching movies you get to hear all sorts of things you didn't before. The speech is very clear. The only thing missing is a subwoofer, but in a space limited office,...

Elegant and Crisp

These are great looking speakers, compact, glossy and elegant. The volume is adjusted by spinning a disc on the top of the unit. It's hidden from view and works very well. Other than that, just plug it in and go. The sound quality is good - comparable...

jbl jembe speakers

Just hooked these speakers to my desktop in about 5 minutes, the sound that comes from these speakers is great, they even shut off automatic and turn on automatic.

poor. JBL quality is down.

I bought the JBL Duet 1 simple computer speakers and they are GREAT! I thought they were low end and I tried the DUET 3, because I wanted that great sound in a bigger speaker. However the Duet 3 was poor sound quality.
