I've had these speakers for over 4 years and they work just fine. I'm not playing concert music, just background downloads, youtube etc. I just wish they were more substantial so that while cleaning up, dusting around the computer they didn't keep...

Cheap but crackly with headphones

 

I was looking for a set of cheap speakers that would go on my desk right next to my monitor. I usually plug headphones into them in order to get better sound and to avoid annoying those around me.

Great speakers for the price. I bought 2 pairs for a few bucks more. NO, you can't throw a party with these things but, for basic music listening, they are great.
