When I plugged the USB power connector into my computer, it caused the computer to instantly shut down. There was obviously some kind of short circuit which caused the USB overload protection to be triggered. Very poor build quality, with tacky...

Great value. Have them sitting on my desk at work and had lots of comments! They are very stylish and do just the job. I only use them at low volume which is fine, but they handle higher volume no problem.
