The only way to go for corn tortillas.

I use a Ziplock gallon bag to mix my corn tortilla dough. Definitely invest in a medium size cookie scoop Norpro Stainless Steel Scoop, 56MM (4 Tablespoon) for quick and even sized tortillas. So easy my kids can do it. They especially love cooking them...

Totally Awesome Tortillas & Flat Bread!!!

11/6/12 UPDATE: We bought a second one! One is not enough, kids have no patience. This is a popular fast food favorite in our kitchen: Rye, Whole Wheet, Pretzle flat bread and Tortillas by the dozen ... First, we use NO LARD, BUTTER, or OIL of any kind...

Takes some practice but worth it

My wife and I are trying to get away from wheat (after buying "wheat belly" from Amazon) and had a hard time finding corn based flatbreads where we shop. So we bought the Cucina pro piece. We had a little trouble at first but learned to press slowly on...

works great

My mom has a villaware flatbread maker (same design, new company name i believe). While the cucinapro works as well, it doesnt feel as sturdy in construction. The handle is a bit wobbly and the lid doesnt seem to be fastened quite tight enough. Either...

Makes great tortillas with the right recipe

The first time I used this I made flour tortillas using the recipe in the instruction book. They were terrible...way too much fat. They turned out crunchy and dry. I found a recipe on allrecipes.com using l T of lard to 2 cups of flour, 1tsp baking...

Makes chapatis like papad

I am an Indian (Maharashtrian to be precise), and I like chapatis a lot, so much so that I don't even bother to eat rice. I bought this item looking at the positive reviews. But this makes hard and crunchy chapatis (almost like papad). They don't taste...

Horrible product

If you're used to eating rotis or parathas the traditional Indian way, this product will not satisfy you. I was terribly disappointed, and was even further disappointed with the horrible service from the seller, Kitchen Arts.

Great product!

After trying home-made tortillas by rolling them out by hand, we loved the taste, but I couldn't spend another hour of rolling for 12 tortillas. So, hubby found this great product. I started it today and after a few failures from pressing too hard and...
