Nice cooktop. Poor knobs and knob location.

So far, our complaint has only been with the knobs. The replacement cost is quite excessive. But more importantly, the design is an issue that should be addressed. People regularly cook with large fry pans, woks and kettles. They should not have to...

We chose this style of cooktop, thinking the knob location was out of the way of small children. They also present an easy access while cooking and it looks nice. (but, see below) ; Nice surface, cleans easily. Like the grates

What seems like a good location for knobs actually is not. When cooking with a large kettle, the heat followed the bottom of the pan, melted the knobs. Warranty didn't cover replacement. One knob, tax, SH, came to $37. Knobs should be heat resistant

beautiful and functional - what more do you need?

I am not sure if I like the looks or the functionality better. Just a beautiful gas range that is easy on the eyes (and the hands that clean it). Basic range features work like a charm. You won't be disappointed!
