Not so durable

Over a period of many years I've owned two of this size Le Creuset pots. My second one is close to needing replacement. These heavy pots are great for soups, stews and the like. However, the enameled surface is not as durable as I would like for a pot...

My "go to" pot

I use this for tons of stuff- cooking pasta, braising meats, sauces. Even when stuff is baked on I just let it soak a little while and with some elbow grease it all comes off.

Le Creuset Signature round French Oven cookware

I really love this cookware! The color is awesome and I can't wait to purchase more cookware from this line. It goes from stove or oven right to the table and keeps soup hot until you're ready to serve.

Bits of the inside finish chipped off after I had used it approximately 4 times to make onion soup. I sent it to Le Creuset to be replaced under the terms of their warranty which said that the warranty would be voided if the pot had been burned. I was...

The kitchen workhorse

I've been switching out different pots and pans for Le Creuset items for about 2 years now and this dutch oven receives some of the heaviest usage. It was one of the first items that I purchased and has been used for baking bread, braising meats,...

The Best

This is the best Dutch Oven I ever used. It far surpasses any other. They are expensive but they are well worth the money.

Still the best

Le Creuset is still the best for long, slow cooking. Their quality remains strong. This pan is a buy once and use for life.

If I could only cook with ONE item

it would, hands down, be this enameled cast-iron french oven. I found a Le Creuset 5 1/2 quart oven at a discounted price last year when the colors were being changed from solid to the ombre-like coloring they currently have. Needless to say, I love...
