Awesome LITTLE cooker

it is very small, so it is meant for one or two people, ONLY. We Americans don't know about washing rice, so as long as you WASH YOUR RICE THRICE TIMES.....it will be perfect. As the other stated, avoid the quick cook except for oatmeal.

cooks perfect rice EVERY time

none

Noob?

OK, let's try this again. The Zojirushi rice cooker is designed for short grain (and medium grain) rice...only. That's the norm in Japan, where this cooker is manufactured. That's more than likely what "Rice-cracker" is using. Here in Louisiana, we use...

Rice = Rocket science

For the other buyer, here is the rocket science behind making rice. First, buy a high quality rice. Should cost about 75 cents to a dollar per pound. Use the measuring cup that came with your cooker and measure (say) 2 cups. Wash the rice in cold water...

Works Perfect

none, do wish I had gone with 10 cups though

smaller is better

perfect for making rice for a small dinner. the rice comes out perfect every time. i tried to make do with my large cooker, but could never get my rice just right in small quantities (and i'm pretty picky about my rice).

I love this little guy.

This is a great little rice machine. I have owned it for a couple of yeas and I still think that it was an excellent purchase. There are several reasons for which I enjoy this machine. - Small size is perfect for one or two people, perhaps up to five ...

Zojirushi NS-KCC05 Micom 3-Cup Rice Cooker

WHAT'S THE 411 ON THIS PRODUCT? Well at first, and to be honest, I was not even going to get one of these cookers. After all, I do own the Presto Options Multi-Cooker, which can also cook rice just as good. But as it turned out, and as usual with ...

Great for singles, couples and small families!

Expensive! But it's worth it. Not sold in stores.

8 years later still enjoying delicious rice

8 years later, Zojirushi Micom 3-Cup Rice Cooker is still one of my most used kitchen appliances. This product is efficient, simple and small. Prior to my Zojirushi, I cooked rice with a standard rice cooker purchased at the local department store. ...

Delicious Rice, Quick, Compact, amazing design, Durable (8 plus years in use going strong)

Possibly the price, but not really if one considers 8 plus years of use

Maybe ok for one to two people - has issues

If you want a Zojirishi, buy the 5-cup model. This one is nice but it is just too small. It is also difficult to clean - it gets this baked on rice crud all over the edge of the lid and rim of the cooker. The condensation reservoir is leaky - it is ...

perfectly cooked rice, brown rice setting, timer is awesome

difficult to clean, does not fit a normal size rice scooper inside, no scooper holder
