Tamp-Tamp

When I bought my new espresso machine I figured I needed a quality Tamper, and since they were all so inexpensive I opted for the Rattleware 58 with Round Handle which others were recommending and was more expensive. I don't know if it does anything...

Great tamper! makes a huge different in your espresso

Great tamper! makes a huge different in your espresso. You just need to apply the 30 pounds pressure or adjust your grinder and portafilter to have a perfect espresso with the pressure you want.

Worth the cost, perfect for Gaggia Classic!

This tamper is a MUST if you're chasing the perfect cup of espresso. I won't go into the details of why it is important since you probably already know it if you're looking for this item. This 58mm fits my Gaggia Classic's portafilter perfectly and the...

Perfect

This tamper works perfectly with my E-61 group Salvatore machine. I wish I had bought it sooner. Nice weight and grip.

Why did it take me 10+ years to buy this?!

This is a great tamper. Solid, heavy, well-made, ostensibly durable (I've only had it a short time but don't expect handle to body separation or issues). It fits the portafilter of my Rancilio Silvia perfectly. I've been making espresso for decades and...

Good size handle and weight for small hands

I was concerned how this would fit my hand, I'm a dainty 5'1" and have hands to match. I'm happy to say this tamper grip isn't too big for me to handle. The stainless steel has a nice satin polish too. I use it with a Rancilio Silvia portafilter.

The Real Deal

Pay no attention to the person who gave this product 3 stars--s/he didn't bother checking to see if his/her filter was 58mm wide or not. The dimensions are clearly stated in the name of the product. I can really only echo the other 5 star reviews, and...

Great everyday tamper

This tamper is solid and sits comfortably in your hand. The plastic feels solid and the steel adds a nice heft. There is a slight, but noticable seam where the plastic meets the metal but this isn't a big issue. The reason I didn't give this 5 stars is...

Does the job of a more expensive tamper

I ordered this product based off an existing review and so far have been really happy with the results. I would definitely recommend this over a more expensive model.
