Works well for me

My only complaint with this device is the power settings... it has preset power and temp settings with no way to add 5 or 10 degrees to them. I knew that before I bought it, so am not upset by it... Just would be nice, is all.

SPT 1300 Watt Induction

I really like this induction cooktop. the reason is the temperture range, in temperature mode it has 13 temp. settings ranging from 100 - 390 Degrees. you don't need any higher temp. you can do anything from warming chocolate to searing meat. I have...

broke after 5 months of daily use

The RF power transistors failed and blew the internal fuse after 5 months. Consider paying a few dollars more for something designed and built more ruggedly.

Is this a safety hazard?

If you turn it upside down, you'll see that this high-tech marvel has a container for insect poison ("moth balls" is the term visible when you put the thing under a light and use a magnifying glass) to trap any cockroaches that might wander inside to...

1300 Watts Not Enough; You Need 1800

This unit really isn't any better than a regular electric cooktop. Induction is awesome, but not with a 1300 watt unit, like this. With induction cooking, it's all in the wattage. When you buy a built in four burner induction cooktop or range, they are...

False advertisement - no temperature control - no low power

The description states 7 power settings (100-300-500-700-900-1100-1300w) and 13 keep warm settings (100-120-140-160-180-190-210-230-250-280-300-350-390-degree f). I tested this unit with 2 different power meters and found the actual power to be ( 530 -...
