Worst Rice cooker

None

This is the worst rice cooker I ever bought. I buy items from newegg.com but I have never disappointed like this. Sensor is not working therefore the rice chars at the bottom. We cannot know whether the rice is cooked or not because of failed sensor....

Works Great But Cleaning A Problem

There's so many intelligent engineering features in this rice cooker and I now see it has been discontinued... I bet it is because you cannot remove the top to clean properly. I can only wipe it down with a paper towel, but cannot detach it from the...

Love the SS rice pot. Warm function works fine. Cooks both white and brown rice as well as quinoa and other grains fine

Top is not removable to clean. If you don't clean the top, mold will develop

Worked well for a year

Loved the stainless steel bowl. Easy to clean and none of that non-stick stuff flaking off, as in the other rice cookers

Worked for over a year then the cook button would pop up prematurely. We would have to tape down the lever and set a timer. Also the power plug was a little loose so you had to make sure it was plugged in with the lights on. I called Tatung to get a...

USED SOLD AS NEW?

Be very careful when you buy products online! Check and check again!

Nice cooker, cooks well

The first cooker I received had a burn mark on the rice cooker. Looks like it was used and repack to sell as new ; Complained to Newegg and they quickly exchanged a newer one

So far so good

over the past 15 years we have owned a multitude of cookers from Tiger, Zorushi, and Sanyo; cheaper to expensive, basic to micro computer. Most common problems have been with "keep warm" functions, bubbling over out the vent during cooking &...

Simple, easy to use. Stainless steel inner pot, no volcanic rice water messes during cooking, cooking time is 1/3 less of the "micro-computer" one we have now and rice comes out better

Geisha serving girl not included

waste of money

ended up going to costco spend $10 more and bought another one for $30.

cheap, $20 w/ code , and stainless steal

stop working and melted the rice cooker. the darn thing can turn on w/o safety stop. very dangerous to have and it is not worth the saving

Low quality of SS but better than Teflon?

It will stick at the bottom like any other SS. Just soak it with water and they will come off.

It has SS inner pot

1. There are several grades of SS. This one is made in China and has a low grade of quality therefore is cheaper. Mine was discolored and has a few speckles at the bottom of the pot dafter 1st use. The speckles can't be removed. Don't know what they...
