Thermador Extra-Low Feature is Ridiculous!!

 

Our current house has a 48" version of this Thermador cooktop (with a griddle and grill). I am not a super-zealous gourmet cook or anything. Mostly we cook breakfast, and a few times a week I'll do some dinner. But still, my big issue with this is ...

It is attractive.

Extra-low feature requires burner to turn itself on and off, with attendant clicking.
