Very nice knife

The Wasabi knives are Shun's discount line. You can see them near the bottom of their website here: shun.kaiusaltd.com/knives The handle is inexpensive plastic, but it is good hard steel. This is a very well made, versatile knife and you can't beat it...

Best value in a kitchen knife

I researched for over 30 hours of the span of a few weeks before deciding on the Kai Wasbi Black knives. I gave 2 away as presents and the recipient has since added to their collection of them themselves. I love the one I have. I only have to steel it...

Wasabi Knife

I only wish I had known about this knife 10 years ago. Very sharp and easy to keep clean. I use this knife to cut my vegetables. I highly recommend this knife for those people who cook at home a lot. Terrific kitchen knife.

Highly Recommended

I used this knife professionally for 3 years until I lost it recently and I am buying another! I've seen it crash to the floor during many busy dinner rushes and it never took any damage (strength of a Global without the cost). The nakiri style is...

Love this knife.

Just to put it simply, we have a lot of knives from a very wide price range. This is the knife I ALWAYS grab for general usage. I prefer it to knives we have that cost 10x as much. Thin blade, perfect shape and light weight. NOT a chopper, not a heavy...

A fine knife

We've had other knives in the nakiri design but (a) they cost a lot more and (b) their blades weren't as good as this.

Misleading information but knife appears OK

The Product Features and Product Description claim that this knife is a traditional style Japanese knife with "unique single sided blade design" and "sharpened on one side. The knife arrived today and this is a boldfaced LIE!!! But I suspected that it...
